Co-Ed 5th/6th Grade Season is over

In the Spring Season of 2019, we had 42 kids participating, split up over 4 teams in 5th/6th Grade:

Our teams this season were the: Hornets, Lions, Patriots and Wolverines

The kids did amazingly well turning up to training in the rain on multiple occasions, and despite being very thin on subs, we had some pretty dedicated kids who showed up every week both for training and game day.

Our main goal is to have FUN while we are playing, but there are some competitive aspects also.

The Patriots took second place in the Championship Game after narrowly losing against a great Hillsboro team in the Finals – 95 to 90. On their road to get there, they finished second in their league and narrowly beat the Hornets in the Semi’s to secure their place in the finals.

The Hornets won the Plate, coming 3rd over all, after being Divisional Winners. They won the plate game beating Junior Barbarians 125-115.

The Lions won the Bowl taking 5th place overall. The Lions got off to a bad start to their season, but finished strong winning their last 4 games.
